To get data from your Google products such as Google Ads and Google Analytics, we need something to link the site and your Google product. Google tags fills the gap and allows us not only to get data but alose to send events and conversions.
The way to insert the tags differ from one site to another and in this writing, we will see how we can set up the Google tags in Cafe24 (one of the most popular CMS in Korea)
Implementation
There are two ways to go about this: 'theme edit' or 'external stript insertion'. Let's see the latter first
How to Insert an Exteranl Script?
Login as an admin and go to the 'Shopping mall settings'
Select 'Basic setting' -> 'SEO'
Click 'advanced settings' at the bottom
Select 'Enter the code directly' at the bottom again. Then paste the code both to the 'PC shopping mall' and 'Mobil shopping mall' in the Head area.
Theme Editor
We can also use design dash board to the same job. Click 'design'. Again we have to insert the tags both in the PC and mobile pages
In the design dashboard menu, click 'edit design'
And open 'main layout'
then insert the tags in the <head> tag of the HTML file.
