Google Merchant Center - Godomall (Feed Set UP)

Godomal provides a product file to be uploaded in Google Merchant Center (GMC). Let's see how we can use this file to add feeds in GMC

Implementation

Allowing Access

We need to edit 'robot.txt' file for Google to access the pages. Log in as an admin, go to 'SEO settings' under basic settings

Delete the code (User-agent: Googlebot) below in the 'robot.txt' setting file

Then add the code below to enable access

User-agent: Googlebot
Disallow:

User-agent: Googlebot-image
Disallow:

Downloading Feeds

Go to 'marketing'

Select 'Google advertisement'

Turn feed usage to 'on' and click 'save'

Then the 'download' button will be activated. Click the button to download the file
