Dimensions
Dimensions are the attributes of data and holds metrics as its value. They are usually displayed in a text format. When there is no incoming data for a dimension, it is marked as (not set) in the report. Each dimension has a different condition to activate.
1. Attribution
▶ List
Campaign / Campaign ID, Default channel group, Medium, Source, Source / medium, Source platform
-> The dimension is populated with URL parameters either by sending optional parameters manually or using auto-tagging. (Reference: Traffic Source Dimension).
2. Demographic
▶ List
Age, Gender, Interests
-> Use 구글시그널 to activate.
3. Ecommerce
▶ List
Currency, Item affiliation, Item brand, Item category ~ Item category 5, Item ID, Item list ID, Item list name, Item list position, Item location ID, Item name, Item promotion creative name, Item promotion creative slot, Item promotion ID, Item promotion name, Item variant, Local item price, Order coupon, Shipping tier, Transaction ID
-> Activated by ecommerce data
4. Event
▶ List
Event name, Is conversion event
-> Activated automatically when events are coming in
5. Gaming
▶ List
Achievement ID, Character, Level, Virtual currency name
-> Activated when related events are coming in
6. General
▶ List
File extension, File name, Percen scrolled, Visible
-> Activated when related events are coming in with 'enhanced event tracking is on'
Group ID, Method, Seach term
-> Activated when a certain event is fired and has a related parameter. For example, Group ID is populated when 'join_group' event is fired and has a parameter 'group_id' with a value in it
Test data filter name
-> Activated when data field is set up in a test mode.
7. Geography
▶ List
City, City ID, Continent, Continent ID, Country, Country ID, Region, Region ID, Subcontinent, Subcontinent ID
-> Activated automatically
8. Link
▶ List
Link classes, Link domain, Link ID, Link text, Link URL, Outbound
-> Activated when linking events from a <a> tag is fired with 'enhanced event tracking is on'. For example, Link classes is populated with the class name when a fired anchor tag has a class.
9. Page / Screen
▶ List
Content group, Content ID, Content type, Page referer
-> Activated when content_group, content_id, content_type, page_referrer parameters come in.
Hostname, Landing page, Page location, Page path + query string, Page path and screen class
-> Activated automatically
Page title
-> Populated with the value of <title> tag automatically. To change this value, use 'page_title' parameter.
10. Platform / Device
▶ List
App store, App version, Browser, Browser version, Device, Device brand, Device category, Device model, Language, Language code, Mobile model, Operating system, Operating system with version, OS version, Platform, Screen resolution, Stream ID, Stream name
-> Activated automatically when related information exist.
11. Publisher
▶ List
Ad format, Ad source, Ad unit
-> Activated automatically when linked to Google Admob or Ad Manager
12. Time
▶ List
Date, Date + hour, Day, Hour, Month, Nth day, Nth hour, Nth month, Nth week, Nth year, Week, Year
-> Activated automatically
13. Traffic source
▶ List
First user campaign, First user campign ID, First user default channel group, First user manual ad content, First user manual term, First user medium, First user source, First user source / medium, First user source platform
-> This is populated with URL parameters either by sending optional parameters manually or using auto-tagging. (Reference: Traffic Source Dimension).
14. User
▶ List
Audience name, New / established, Signed in with user ID
-> Activated automatically
15. User lifetime
▶ List
First session date, First visit date, Last active date, Last audience name, Last platform
-> Activated automatically (But, 'Last audience name' is activated when an audience is created).
First purchase date, last purdchase date
-> Activated automatically when 'purchase' event comes in
16. Video
▶ List
Video provider, Video title, Video URL
-> Activated automatically when enhanced event is turned on
Metrics
This represents the value of each dimension in a number format. The list is as follows:
1. Advertising
▶ List
Google Ads clicks, Google Ads cost, Google Ads cost per click, Google Ads impressions, Google Ads video cost, Google Ads video views
-> Activated automatically when Google Ads and Google Analytics are linked
Not-Google clicks, Not-Google cost, Not-Google cost per click, Not-Google cost per conversion, Not-Google impression, Return on not-Google ad spend
-> Activated automatically cost is imported
2. Ecommerce
Each event in ecommerce has items array. So there two scopes, event and item:
Event Scope
▶ List
Add to cart, Checkouts, Item-list- click events, Item-list view events, Item view events, Promotion clicks, Promotion views, Refunds
-> Activated automatically when each ecommerce event comes in
Purchase revenue
-> Activated automatically when 'purchase' event come in. This value is calculated by adding all the purchase value minus the value of the 'return' event
Queantity
-> Activated automatically when 'quentity' parameter comes in with ecommerce event
Shipping amount
-> Activated automatically when 'shipping' parameter comes in with the 'purchase' event purchase
Tax amount
-> Activated automatically when 'tax' parameter comes in with the 'purchase' event
Purchases, Transactions, Transactions per purchaser
-> Activated automatically when 'purchase' event comes in
Item Scope
▶ List
Ecommerce quantity, Item quantity
-> Activated when the 'quantity' parameter comes in with ecommerce event
Item revenue
-> Activated when 'quantity' and 'price' parameters come in
Item discount amount, Item refund, Items added to cart, Items checked out, Items clicked in list, Items clicked in promotion, Items viewed in list, Items viewed in promotion
-> Activated when the items array comes in with each ecommerce event
3. Event

-> Activated automaticaaly when conversions are set from events.
Event count, Event count per user, Evetns per session
-> Activated automatically
Event value
-> Activated automatically when 'value' parameter comes in
First opens, First visits
-> Activated automatically when related events fire
4. Page / Screen

-> Activated automatically
5. Predictive

Churn probability, In-app purchase probability, Predicted revenue, Purchase probability
-> Need to configuration to activate
6. Publisher

1-day repeat purchasers, 2-7-day repeat purchasers, 30-day repeat purchasers, 31-90-day repeat purchasers, 7-day pay active users, 8-30-day repeat purchasers, 90-day paid active users, Average daily purchasers, First time purchasers, First-time purchaser conversion, First-time purchasers per new user, Max daily purchasers, Min daily purchasers
-> Activated when 'purchase' event comes in

10. User lifetime
